2019 Pride Festival Fashion Show (6/29/2019)

*Note* Not writing this to piss anyone off, just a funny, honest story about my experience in the event
Style 1: Casual Chic on Avenue des Champs-Élysées

Style 2: Beverly Hills Pool Party

Style 3: Academy Awards Red Carpet Night

Even though I didn't win, I was definitely a crowd-pleaser. A little background on how I became involved:
One of the contestants dropped out and I was picked as a first back-up all this happening the day of the last rehearsal, giving me only 1 solid week to prepare, styles, huds and practice on the runway. Every bone in my body said it would be a bad idea, but I love being on stage & like living life on the edge. The week before the contest was pure hell, as I had all manner of things go wrong from modeling hud not working & accessory malfunctions, to clothing rigging issues (Who knew you could have too much booty in a Freya, lol)........
All things considered, I think I did pretty well and I really had fun & would certainly apply to be a model in the contest next year!
This contest was a total confidence booster & has inspired me to keep at runway modeling.
It was important to me to be able to participate in this fashion show as I am a proud member of the LGBTQ community in my rl and have suffered plenty due to my lifestyle growing up in the southern United States.

 Stuff I learned:
~it is intimidating for newer models to compete against seasoned pros.
(Real Shit: After reading profiles & finding out I only had a week to prepare to compete against an SL Miss Universe, I was about to just pack it up and go home, lmao! But I'm better than that so I decided to at least try.)

My wishes for next year:
~PICK ME FIRST, so I'll have more time to prepare next year, lololol (just kidding, I know things just happen the way they happen sometimes)

Eva Artemesia, I love you and thank you so much for inviting me to participate, you did a wonderful job on everything!!!
Special Thanks go to my Mother, Shari Bazi for helping me get thru the week without ripping my hair out & Monica Queirren for your support and advice.
